Terms & Conditions

Use and Service Conditions

Before booking, please read the terms and conditions carefully. By booking with Taj Taxi and Tours, you legally accept these terms and conditions on behalf of yourself and all individuals included in the reservation.

1. Reservation and Payment

Reservations must be made online through our website https://tajtaxitours.com. By making a reservation, you accept the terms and conditions for yourself and each member of your group.

  • The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old.
  • Online reservations must be made at least 12 hours before your desired transfer date.
  • Taj Taxi and Tours is not responsible for errors due to false or missing information in the booking.
  • Final payment for the reservation will be made at the end of each transfer, using a secure online payment system or by credit card.
  • Your reservation is valid only upon receiving a confirmation email, typically sent within 24 hours.
  • Transfer reservations are handled in Austria mainland time (GMT+2.00).

2. Prices

Taj Taxi and Tours reserves the right to update prices without prior notice. The prices shown are final, including all supplements, payments, and taxes. Prices do not vary based on the number of passengers. Payments to the driver must be made in cash (Euros only) upon arrival at the destination. For return transfers, please pay the total balance upon arrival.

3. Cancellations and Changes Made by the Passenger

To change or modify a reservation, contact us via email at info@tajtaxitours.com, WhatsApp, or SMS. Refunds for cancellations will be processed using the original payment method and currency.

  • Cancellations made 24 hours before pick-up will be fully refunded.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled transfer time are non-refundable.
  • For bookings made less than 24 hours before pick-up, the cancellation policy applies automatically.

4. Cancellations and Changes Made by Taj Taxi and Tours

Taj Taxi and Tours reserves the right to cancel bookings under certain conditions, such as:

  • Incorrect destination address
  • Undisclosed transport of animals
  • Excess luggage not indicated in the reservation
  • Excess number of passengers
  • Disturbance or safety threats caused by passengers
  • Intoxicated passengers
  • Violation of vehicle cleanliness

5. Delays

The price includes 45 minutes of waiting time for airport pick-ups and 15 minutes for other pick-up points. Additional waiting time and parking charges may apply after the free waiting period. For airport pick-ups, the driver will wait at the arrival hall with a sign displaying your name. For train station pick-ups, the driver will wait in front of the Info Point office. For address pick-ups, the driver will wait in front of the specified door or nearby if there are parking restrictions.

6. Luggage and Other Conditions

Specify all luggage equipment, including surfboards, skis, golf clubs, bikes, baby carts, and domestic animals, to ensure enough vehicle space. Undisclosed excess luggage may incur additional costs. Inform us of any delays at +43 664 75007879. The maximum number of passengers per limousine is four, including children. Indicate any need for child seats in the reservation form. Personal details will be deleted after the service is provided.

7. Insurance and Guarantees

  • Taj Taxi and Tours is a fully licensed Austrian taxi transfer company.
  • Our services are fully insured according to Austrian law.
  • Passengers and their luggage are fully insured.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by external factors like weather or traffic.
  • If delays are our fault, passengers will be compensated for alternative transportation costs, provided the new transportation is arranged or approved by us.

8. Other

  • Smoking and alcoholic drinks are not allowed in our vehicles.
  • We reserve the right to refuse transport to clients under the influence of alcohol or drugs or who pose a risk to the driver.
  • Customers with babies must have baby seats.
  • We reserve the right to depart 15 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time.
  • We may change the model of the booked vehicle without prior notice.
  • If a passenger fails to appear, the full transfer amount will be charged.
  • Legal proceedings will be held in Landesgericht Salzburg, Austria.

If these conditions result in the cancellation or termination of the transfer, passengers will be asked to leave the vehicle, and the tour operator will retain the full amount paid for the transfer.

9. Passports & Visas:

All travelers must have a valid passport for international travel. Many countries require that passports have at least 6 months of validity remaining from the date of return, and some countries require a machine-readable passport. When assisting with an international travel booking, we will assume that all travelers on the booking have a valid passport. If this is not the case, you must inform us immediately.

It is crucial to ensure that you have valid passports, visas, and re-entry permits that meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities. Any fines, penalties, payments, or expenditures incurred as a result of not meeting these requirements will be your sole responsibility (except to the extent caused by our fault).

If you need information regarding visas, passports, and other travel document requirements for your trip, please let your consultant know. We can provide general information on visa and passport requirements that apply to international travel bookings made with us. Our consultants can also obtain more specific information from an external visa advisory service provider on your behalf. If you wish, we can assist you in obtaining visas through this external service, though fees will apply. We do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by any external service and accept no liability for any loss or damage suffered in reliance on it (except to the extent caused by our fault).

Visa Information for Europe:

Most passports allow visa-free entry to European countries for short stays. However, if a visa is required for your visit to Europe, please inform us, and we will assist you in obtaining the necessary visa information. Ensure that you check the specific visa requirements for each country you plan to visit, as they can vary.

For Australian passport holders:

  • Canada: Please visit http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/eta.asp for important information regarding compulsory pre-registration for their visa waiver program (ETA). Australian passport holders will not be able to enter Canada without a valid ETA. Note that you may not meet the eligibility requirements of ETA and may need a pre-approved visa to travel to Canada.

10. Travel Insurance:

We strongly recommend that you purchase appropriate travel insurance to cover your travel arrangements in Europe. Travel insurance is essential for all overseas travel, including trips to European destinations. Before purchasing any travel insurance product, make sure to read all relevant documentation to ensure the product meets your needs and financial situation. This documentation will provide important information about the conditions, limits, and exclusions that apply to the insurance.

Travel Advice:

For general travel advice and specific information, including safety alert levels for European destinations, consult reliable sources or official travel advisory websites. Additionally, consider registering your travel plans with appropriate authorities to facilitate contact in case of an emergency.

Health:

Ensure you are aware of any health requirements and recommended precautions relevant to your travel in Europe, and carry all necessary vaccination documentation. Failure to present required vaccination documentation (e.g., proof of Yellow Fever vaccination) may result in denial of entry into a country. We recommend consulting your local doctor, a travel medical service, or a specialist vaccination clinic before starting your travel.
